How It Works
How It Works
Feelings are easier to handle when we can name them, express them, and understand what we need. Cardim card sets turn emotional moments into simple, guided conversations — no training required.
Five Simple Steps
1. Name It
Pick a card that matches what you're feeling right now. Seeing the feeling named and illustrated makes it real — and less overwhelming.
2. Express It
Use the card's prompt to put words to the feeling. Whether you speak it, write it, or simply point to it — expression is the first step to relief.
3. Understand the Need
Every feeling carries a need underneath it. The cards guide you to ask: what does this feeling need right now? Rest? Connection? Safety? Space?
4. Choose a Tool
Each card set includes practical tools — breathing exercises, grounding techniques, reflection prompts, or conversation starters — matched to the feeling and the need.
5. Communicate Better
With the right words and tools in hand, conversations become easier. Whether it's a child talking to a parent, a teen opening up, or an adult in a therapy session — connection follows.
